"Summer"

Many of my paintings have a very loose feeling with little “apparent” structure, however in this case I started with a grid and wanted to see what would happen if I had more structure to start with and how free I could get.

I wanted a light happy feeling, colors that remind me of summer any time of the year.

Opening night was a success.

Red Sky provided the cake, the hors’ d’oeuvres and the beverages. Over 500 beverages were served, so lots of visitors.

Ben’s sculptures made out of wood and metal and Terry’s shapes and colors worked well together.

Quite a lot of sales were made.
